Independence is very important to me. I have been a wheelchair user since I was 2 years old. I have had many powered wheelchairs since then. Mine started with a powertek powered wheelchair. Then straight to Invacare with the DX control system. My 1st experience cracking involved closing a switch so that I can operate the wheelchair at full speed while the seat is elevated to the top. Since then I never looked back and purchased a DX OEM programming hardware and software.
I have always trusted physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other professionals that empower individuals to be independent by empowering them with new found abilities and of course with the issuing of equipment such as powered and manual wheelchair. However, these experts will only program what they deem to be safe in terms of powered wheelchairs and other devices. This is why we, individuals like to take control of our life and how our equipment response. I have put a lot of research into the current system of Invacare programming software to gain OEM access. This included attempts to purchase factory OEM dongle in order to program the new LINX software. Money was spent on research and development and finally a breakthrough was made. The cost is minimal and is there to recover some of the money spent on research. I am still working on gaining access to the inhibitor so that I can drive the chair at full elevation at speed. By purchasing the patch available, you are supporting a person with disability to gain more independence while also empowering yourself if you have a wheelchair that uses the LINX access system. Please note that you will need the dealer access key in order to use the original and patched LINX software. Please note that the current patch only works for the 32-bit system of the LINX access software. |
